We build assistants that answer from your data, not from their memory
ShopBrain is the AI chatbot platform for e-commerce built by GrowFlow Studio. We help stores automate support and pre-sales without ending up with an assistant that writes well and gets the prices wrong.
What sits behind the answers
A model that does not know answers anyway
With no source to draw on, a generative system fills the gap with something plausible. On a catalog, plausible means wrong.
The problem we started from
A language model wired to nothing but itself knows e-commerce in general and your store not at all. It can write a convincing paragraph about shipping and get the days wrong, invent a size you do not stock, promise a return you do not offer. The problem is not the quality of the writing: it is that the right information is nowhere within reach, and a generative system that does not know would still rather answer. Everything else we do follows from that.
The answer is looked up first, written second
ShopBrain retrieves the relevant passages from your knowledge base — that product’s record, the paragraph in your terms of sale — and only then writes the answer from them, able to say where it came from. When a conversation goes beyond what an assistant should close on its own, a human agent steps into the same chat without losing the context. And the same knowledge base answers on your site, on WhatsApp and on Telegram, because customers write where it suits them.
The label that stays
The widget can be entirely yours, except for the indication that whoever is writing is an automated system. It is not for sale, to anyone.
What we do not do, and not because it would not pay
The widget can be entirely yours: colours, name, copy, no logo of ours and no "powered by". One label stays, and we remove it for nobody at any price: the one telling users they are talking to an automated system. The AI Act requires it, and a chat pretending to be a person is a problem for whoever publishes it before it is ours. The same goes for features: when a promise is not backed by the code, we take it off the site instead of leaving it in the window.
Part of the GrowFlow Studio ecosystem
ShopBrain is one of GrowFlow Studio’s SaaS products, alongside BookBrain for appointments and ShipBrain for shipment tracking. It is no accident that they talk to each other: an assistant taking bookings in chat and one answering "where is my order" need the same data, and keeping them in one ecosystem saves the customer from wiring three vendors together by hand.
San Severo, province of Foggia
- Small team, product built in house.
- Customers in Italy and across Europe.
- Support is answered by the people who write the product.
Where we are and who we work with
We are based in San Severo, in the province of Foggia, Italy, and we work with stores across Italy and Europe. We are a small team, which has one practical consequence worth stating: when you write to support, the person answering is someone who builds the product, not a first line opening a ticket.
